I found Winston Williams, the project manager, to be extremely knowledgeable regarding all aspects of this project. Each quarter, he gave a televised update to the Board of Commissioners regarding the status of the courthouse. Winston’s professionalism and his commitment to meeting (and exceeding our expectations) resulted in our having an excellent new Superior Courthouse.
Winston’s leadership of this project team was instrumental in the over-all success of the construction of our building. He routinely gave our steering committee progress updates that were thorough and accurate and he continuously kept in communication with our committee to ensure that there were no surprises. Along with his technical capabilities, Winston is a very personable individual and a pleasure to work with. He was always available to answer our many questions and allay our concerns. A true “problem solver“, Winston worked out the rough edges of a very complex building project.
I had the unique opportunity to work closely with Winston Williams, the construction manager on site. He and the team were professionals that worked well with the elected officials that would occupy this facility that in itself is no easy task pleasing elected officials! Additionally I want to list some of the traits I observed during our 2 years of construction:

The project was delivered three months ahead of schedule and delivered under budget.
From the beginning, Winston told us what to expect, and from that day forward he provided excellent communications so the committee was always up to date on the progress of the construction. His positive attitude was refreshing, and throughout the project, he continued to demonstrate his professionalism and integrity, resolving issues and accommodating requests for changes.
Project Manager Winston Williams Jr., took the lead on ensuring that the project moved along according to the City’s schedule, and that all tasks and stages of this project were coordinated seamlessly. He consistently provided us with accurate information and regularly communicated throughout the iterative design and construction process. Winston always knew how to get the answer, and I found his resourcefulness to be quite an asset in working on such a large initiative. His positive demeanor, professionalism and integrity were very refreshing during our weekly meetings to track project progress and address/resolve issues.
